Ask Fardin
- Who are you, in one line?
- I’m Fardin, a frontend engineer in Dhaka. I build fast, polished Next.js and React frontends for SaaS teams and design studios.
- What are you working on right now?
- Since Nov 2025 I’ve been a frontend engineer at Kiip Corp.. I build mobile-first clinic discovery and booking, where navigation has to hold together from the first screen to a booked slot.
- Where have you worked before?
- Potential Inc (Oct 2024 — Oct 2025): I designed and built responsive interfaces with smooth interactions. Microdeft (Jun 2023 — Aug 2024): I revamped products other people had already shipped.
- What do you build with?
- TypeScript, React and Next.js, styled with Tailwind. Motion in Framer Motion and GSAP, component systems in Storybook. Node, Express and MongoDB when the backend is mine as well.
- What makes your frontends different?
- I write performance and accessibility targets into the contract: mobile Lighthouse scores on agreed pages. So “fast” is something you can check at handover, not something promised after launch.
- How does a project with you run?
- A written scope and a fixed price, 50% to book the start date. Milestones you approve on a staging link, and a handover with the Lighthouse report at the end.
- Can you work in my time zone?
- I’m in Dhaka on GMT+6. I overlap the UK working day, and US East Coast teams wake up to the handoff. The sky in here is my sky. Look up to see what time it is for me.
- Are you available?
- Yes. I’m taking new projects, and I’m open to remote roles. The quickest way in is a 20-minute call.
- Can I see your best work?
- Six pieces are on screens in the gallery, top of the office. Walk up to one and it opens. Everything else is on the work page.
- How do I reach you?
- Email afnan.eu.cse@gmail.com, or book a 20-minute call.
The work
- Kurenai (Comic publisher landing page): A comic publisher set like a woodblock poster, whose scroll reads a full comic page in manga order.
- Strait (Fintech landing page): A money-transfer page whose headline is the calculator: change the amount or the city and the payout counts to its new value.
- Juno (Developer portfolio): An editorial portfolio template: stickers that drift with the cursor, a soft serif, and two loud colours.
- Plinth (SaaS landing page): A product-photo SaaS set in a studio of arches and plinths, all lit by one sun that scroll moves across the day.
- Serein (AI SaaS landing page): A calm AI inbox in a cobalt sky, where every product view is live interface built in code, not a screenshot.
- Arterial (Fleet SaaS landing page): A fleet-tracking page that opens on a live WebGL road: a vehicle’s day, drawn as long-exposure light.
